The food was nice. The service was very slow. They brought us an extra drink that the first waitress added to the bill and the serving waitress then did not take off. It was pricey. There were waitresses dotted about chatting near the kitchen entrance. Having said all this the atmosphere was nice and the food did taste good, which saved them from a 1 star review.

The staff are excellent, very friendly and polite. The food was very tasty but it did take about 30 minutes to appear after ordering, which is a little long for a couple of toasted sandwiches. It was worth the wait though so we would go back again.

Service always very good. Not always a good selection of food left later in the day. Proves it must be popular.

Dangerous now that Tiptree products are only a walk away when I come to visit family in Chelmsford. Wonderful layout and atmosphere. Can be a little wait for tables at lunchtime and slower service as a result, but won’t stop me coming back
