There is so many restaurants in Edinburgh to choose from. We had seen this one yesterday and decided to try it today. It was walk ins only. There is outside seating but were taking up luckily there was tables free inside. It's a very busy place. The staff were very friendly and the food was really good i had the fish and chips it was so fresh. My hubby wanted to try the Scottish tradition of haggis neeps and tatties with a whiskey sauce. I tried it too and it delicious. Worth a visit if your in Edinburgh.
Nice bar. Excellent service. Very nice view of the St. Andrew’s square garden. Enjoyable seating under the sun with a smoking possibility. The old fashioned and the coffee martini were very tasty.
I love this Bar! great atmosphere delicious food and awesome beer selection. The staff is kind and courteous. And your food comes out really quick!
Went for lunch with some friends in this pub and we really had a great experience! We ordered a sandwich and the additional soup of the day that was so delicious! We really had a great experience and we definitely recommed! Also the prices were reasonable for the quality of the place and the food, not too expensive! Definitely a must!!
Amazing drinks selection, reasonably priced but it's the staff that make this place! So friendly, efficient and made my trip to Edinburgh just that little bit better! Absolute Angels
Really good food. The guiness pie was excellent , a real winter warmer. Value for money and the staff are really friendly. The decor is very unique.
Nice bright interior with lovely tiling inside. Some seats outside as well. Decent selection of beer taps - mass market as well as some craft beers. Liked the Jubel beer - 4% lager with a tinge of peach. Perfect for a summers day.
Great cocktails! Amazing Food. Haggis, steal pie, haddock and salmon all top notch. Proper Sticky Toffee pudding. Delicious
A nice bar with friendly staff and a good selection. Popped in to watch rugby knowing space may not be available and the staff was very quick to tend to pur order and said we were more than welcome to stand at the bar and watch the game. A table opened up soon after and remembering we were at the bar they graciously came and let us know that a table was opening up amid we wanted to have it. It was a lovely time and a great day filled with good rugby, drinks, and some nice whisky.
Great ambiance, simple thrills, and that's what you need sometimes. Why overcomplicate matters? The bar looks incredible, it's a cool place to kick back after dinner. Yeah, you might not get this or that, but you'll have a chill time. Close to the strip in New Town so expect tourists, but that's fine. Clean place, did not try the bar 'bites'. Rarely do I give 5 stars, this time was due to quick service and the look. They happen to also play really good music, I blame the owner
