It was lovely, servers were polite and attentive! Food was delicious! 3 courses filled me right up until I couldn't eat anymore! 2 courses would still be plenty! Price is reasonable for a place like this. The food was incredible, beetroot cured salmon to start, the dome steak pie for main and sticky toffee pudding! Partner had beef tartare to start and pan roasted chicken for main, sticky toffee pudding for dessert. No complaints! I'd recommend!
Food is good, aesthetically pleasing and tastes ok. Price a bit too high but ambiance is just so exceptional. Service not too good unless you wear big jewelry and flaunt your money. I ate alone during Christmas season, it took 30min for me to get a waiter to take my order, whereas the ladies flaunting jewelry on the next table was served water and other things without them even asking for it. Quite disappointing to be honest. But ambiance was really good
No matter how good the food is, you need to eat at the Dome to see the magnificent setting and architecture. It is a real gem. The pesto gnocchi that I had for lunch was tasty. My only issue with the Dome and the reason for the four star is that two hostesses at the front had unnecessary attitude.
Lovely setting.. cocktails are Brill.. have to say the food although looks very elegant on the plate was a little disappointing flavour wise.. otherwise the place looks amazing, you are feel you are having a meal somewhere special and the staff are all very friendly and helpful..
One of the best and great restaurant in Edinburgh. We had a wonderful dinner , nice cocktails and great ambience. Food was very delicious and well presented.Beautiful decoration and stunning. Wow wow. I really love this place and highly recommend.
