If you go into Tigh Na Mara's small cosey friendly bar you would be mistaken to think this is just a bar because at the rear of the property is a spacious well decorated modern 60 plus restaurant with friendly efficient staff that have a good understanding of the food and wine they serve the chef Douglas and his team prepare high quality food which is beautifully presented, on our visit the chef came to our table to make sure we were happy with the food we had

We had dinner and drinks here. The selection of food on the menu is excellent and well priced. The portions are pretty big. Everyone in our group of 4 enjoyed their food and none was left over. Service was good. Easy parking outside for the drivers and the staff called a local taxi service for the others.

This is a small hotel/pub in a small village. We stayed 3 nights recently and really enjoyed the place. Accommodation was clean, bed comfortable, perfectly adequate for our short stay. The restaurant was superb, very good menu choice, perfectly cooked and presented. Staff were cheerful, friendly and polite. Booking is advisable as it can get very busy at peak periods. Location is about 100 yards from the beach. We will most likely return to stay here again.
