Unexpectedly delicious! There was a bike race in town on the day we visited and we were able to enjoy dinner before the crowds got there. Delightful service, nice wine and really delicious food.
Food is good, real and filling. Big serves. Not a great deal of vegetarian options but still nice. Staff and nice but are not attentive. We have dined there three times and everything its a struggle to get a drink or order as they just leave you be. As the food usually takes awhile to come out, I would have downed two drinks in that time but am never asked. Plesent atmosphere. Kid friendly.
Great value early evening menu! All of our food was delicious. The tomato soup was thick and tasty accompanied with a warm roll. Spaghetti Bolognese was equally good and well presented. the service was efficient and friendly. Glad we dropped in!!Food: 5/5
It was a quiet Sunday evening so probably not the best time to judge the atmosphere, but still friendly and warm. Great food on offer and polite, friendly staff. Service was efficient and as we have young children, this didn't impact on the enjoyment of the meal.Food: 5/5
I booked a table for my twin daughters 21st birthday meal and from booking to organising and decorating they were amazing the staff were faultless the service was superb the food was sublime absolutely delicious not one thing was amiss. I would give more stars if I could definitely the best restaurant I have been to in a long time and the best by far in Stranraer and surrounding areas well done team. Landos x
I am not one to post reviews but I felt this place deserved one. My wife and I ate here this evening before heading back to Belfast on the ferry. We were met by very friendly staff, amazing Italian food, fantastic flavours and very reasonable prices. We would recommend the chicken, broccoli, mushroom and creamy sauce Penne pasta. The Pizza was cooked perfectly with a tasty crispy base, not to mention the chocolate fudge cake which was also great! Until next time
Dropped in on the chance of a table for 1 they were happy to abblige. Resonably busy at that time, dinner consisted of tomato & basil soup followed by spaghetti bolognese. Nice friendly staff greeting you as you come in the door. The soup was incredible, throughly delicious, flavourful and a decent consistency. The spaghetti bolognese was very tasty, nice deep tomato taste if a tad salty, only down side was no offer of parmasan and the like. Either way, superbly nice, possibly the cheese would have made the dish much too saly, either way for the price though you truly can't complain the early bird is well worth the earlier visit.
A beautiful place was a recommendation glad we went because we would never have found it. Excellent food
Came recommended by the hotel I was staying in, didn't disappoint, courteous staff , large portions, tasty and a nice relaxing setting setting, would recommend it myself now
