Popped in for Sunday lunch. We had not booked but they fitted us in. Would advise to book as it is very popular. My wife has roast beef and veg, good value for money. Good sized portion. I had a burger with bbq pulled pork and chips again tasted great and great value for money. Good pint of Pedigree. Will be back to try the pie evening.
Lovely country pub, been several times on a Thursday for pie night. They have a massive selection of pies with plenty of vegetarian and vegan options too. Great value meal for a pie, chips and mixed veg all for just £9! No wonder it is so busy. Would definitely recommend booking to guarantee a table as not a lot of room for walk ins. Lovely friendly staff too, nothing is too much trouble.
Nice place for lunch, menus very good with a Tapas section. Everything was delicious, only the fries were a bit undercooked. Service was good and very friendly. The view is great. It was a bit quite but has a nice atmosphere. Vegetarian options: Several vegetarian options and even a vegan burger. Kid-friendliness: Has a children's menu. Parking: Nice big parking lot. Dietary restrictions: Had Gluten Free options.
Superb location, amazing food at decent prices and lovely staff. We managed to book a table for 6 people last minute, the lady on the phone was absolutely lovely and really helpful and kind. The food was absolutely delicious. We cannot wait to come back and see how the garden looks in the summer time as well
Brilliant out of the way country pub. Went for Sunday Lunch, had to book understandably. Lovely food and with a couple of tweaks the roasts could be made gluten free. Young staff who seemed to have a handle on things. Gents toilets could do with a bit of TLC but not going to knock a star off for that! Definitely returning. MFood: 5/5
We booked for Easter Sunday lunch with 8 of us and an infant, the service was next to none! Really friendly and welcoming staff, the roast was incredible, one of the best I have had in a long time. The waiter was also really helpful with my 2 year old Niece offering to bring her some strawberries and berries at her demand! Thank you everyone we hope to visit again soon.
We visited here & there was 6 of us, one of the girls had suggested pie night, we couldnt believe how many different Pies there was, you got to choose your pie filling then which pastry, either Shortcrust or Puff, we all had various pies, I had Stesk & Ale with shortcrust, you got chips, Fine Beans, Carrot & Red Cabage all for £9, it was very nice & full of flavour. It was very, very busy so deffinatly suggest booking. We all said we enjoyed our pies & was value for money.
First time visit. Staff were friendly and the food was good. Best selection of pies I've ever seen! But, a proper pie has pastry on the bottom not just a lid :- . Will still visit again though
A small walk with the dogs for lunch at The Tiger. The food was lovely and we sat outside on the terrace overlooking the valley with the sun shining. The service was great and thoroughly enjoyed it
We've eaten here a couple of times..the service is very good..the menu choice is excellent..something to satisfy all taste buds..the food quality is also excellent and great value for money..would highly recommend..we will definitely be returning..
