Family run freehouse in the middle of belper town centre situated on the marketplace, serving homemade food 7 days of the week.

Monday-Thursday any 3 little plates £10.50 & any 5 for £16.00 and 5pm till 7 pm Monday till Thursday any 2 mains for just £13.00

Sunday Roast-11:30am-5pm Choice of 3 meats and ALL the trimmings

Bookings/reservations are ALWAYS reccomended, please note we DO NOT take bookings after 7pm friday & saturday evenings (exclusive of private hire) we operate a first come, first serve, book on arrival policy..

Really great tapas menu. 10 items for £32 worked out really well some dishes are more expensive than others so choose wisely. Service was excellent and we ordered a jug of their own made Sangria and a jug of Pimms and Lemonade. The chilli nachos are also a big hit.

Small town centre pub with its own identity. We'll worth a visit. The tapas-style 'little plates' are charming, eclectic and tasty. Share a load with friends for a quick, satisfying meal.
Lovely little pub, great service. Busy, but not noisy. Cosy and comfortable. Disabled parking right outside, regular parking looked about 1 minute walk away. I thoroughly recommend the vegan platter!
A nice atmosphere with really friendly staff. The food is mostly freshly prepared and of a good quality. The tapas selection is definitely the best thing after the chicken wings. The wings are great with an unusual coating that has a bit of a cinnamon hit. The pub also has a great selection of spirits.
Don't be put off by the negative sounding signs dotted all over the place... The atmosphere is very friendly. The food was superb. Will go again. I'm looking forward to trying the whitebait and homemade mayo.
