Family run freehouse in the middle of belper town centre situated on the marketplace, serving homemade food 7 days of the week.

Monday-Thursday any 3 little plates £10.50 & any 5 for £16.00 and 5pm till 7 pm Monday till Thursday any 2 mains for just £13.00

Sunday Roast-11:30am-5pm Choice of 3 meats and ALL the trimmings

Bookings/reservations are ALWAYS reccomended, please note we DO NOT take bookings after 7pm friday & saturday evenings (exclusive of private hire) we operate a first come, first serve, book on arrival policy..

Enjoyed our evening at The Black Swan very much. Visited Friday, and it was busy. Luckily a table came free so we were able to order food.. book in advance next time. Tapas 5 Tapas - £24 and cask ale, see pictures, all first class. Definitely return :Food: 5/5
I’ve been a bit disappointed with pub food lately but the food here is great! I stopped for a quick pint but ended up ordering some keema loaded fries and paprika squid, as the food smelt so good. Everything was served by some friendly and helpful ladies, looking forward to visiting again.
Very relaxed pub. Great food & good prompt service. I can't comment on the beer, as I don't drink, but there seemed to be a wide range of alcoholic drinks including cocktails. I'd certainly visit there again for a meal.Food: 5/5
Really great tapas menu. 10 items for £32 worked out really well some dishes are more expensive than others so choose wisely. Service was excellent and we ordered a jug of their own made Sangria and a jug of Pimms and Lemonade. The chilli nachos are also a big hit.
Lovely little pub, great service. Busy, but not noisy. Cosy and comfortable. Disabled parking right outside, regular parking looked about 1 minute walk away. I thoroughly recommend the vegan platter!

Visited The Black Swan last Thursday evening for a pint and something to eat. Couldn't ask for anything more out of a pub, it was fab. The atmosphere inside and outside was chilled and friendly with a mixed age group of people using the place, The staff from entering to leaving the pub were friendly, attentive and everyone of them had a smile on their faces, a really lovely bunch of people who made you feel welcome. The beer was on tip top form and as for the food I couldn't fault it, it was delicious. The sloppy vegetarian burger and fries I had, I could have eaten again and again. Big plateful of food, looked nice and more importantly tasted full of flavour. Definitely be going back there to eat again. Top Marks!
