Visited today, Bank Holiday Monday, ordered food and was told 20-30 minute wait. After nearly an hour, no food arrived, so we asked and was told we were next. So after waiting another half hour, so an hour an a half altogether, we cancelled our food and got a refund. Realised even the refund was less than the original bill!! Terrible customer service, will not be going back.

It's a cosy place to have a tasty Sunday carvery. The meat is always juicy and tender. Traditional pub. Ideal after a walk around National Trust's Houghton Mill

Nice pub in pleasant village. Had Oakham on tap and ordered a pizza, which was pretty good.
