I needed somewhere for 3 nights near Huntingdon and I couldn't resist the thought of staying in a proper historic building with character I'm a surveyor. I could have paid double the money for the marriot where all the others on the training course were and had all the luxury, hustle and bustle of a corporate venue.I did visit the marriot and whilst it was all very nice, I am very glad to have stayed here. Quiet, friendly, good parking, nice old fashioned desk in my room, interesting building etc. It certainly won't be for everyone but it's going to be my first choice when I next need to stay in this area. Thanks for a nice stay. See you again later this year I hope!
went to the pub/restaurant only. lovely little pub, the staff are welcoming, kind and willing to go the extra mile. the business seems to be struggling and unfortunately their chef didn’t turn up, so it appeared bar staff cooked us our meals. despite this they still turned out lovely. the scampi was beautiful and the fish was so big! kids enjoyed their pizzas. calamari was a bit hard/dry and the curry although nice didn’t taste like a madras tasted like a tomato beef stew? curry was served lukewarm but the bar staff heated it up for us without complaint which was nice. overall i’d say the food was okay if you’re looking for traditional british pub i say give this little place a chance, let’s support local businesses. they definitely have the potential to grow into a lovely local pub.
Absolutely awful room. Dirty, carpet was very dirty and dtained, mould in bathroom, hair dhavings over sink, missing light bulbs, so couldn't use mirror in room for hairdrying or make up. No spare electrical sockets. When there was staff on site they were friendly and helpful Rooms: Appallingly dirty and unkempt. Poor facilities
A quaint country pub type hotel. Good food, great beer and in the middle of nowhere! Friendly staff although no heating on a cool autumn night... but it's coming soon!!!Rooms: 4/5
Pleasant oldie worldie pub. Nice people. Great location. Easy parking. Beer well kept and a decent selection of drinks for a small pub. Came with the family, bathrooms quirky but clean and tasteful. Rooms full of character. Quiet village, even with being on the main road through. For the price, I'd certainly stay here again.Rooms: 4/5
Fabulous Sunday Roast at Stukeley Hotel & Pub. Located about a mile from RAF Alconbury. On Sundays they serve only a roast dinner from 12pm -3pm. You have your choice of beef or pork. I opted for the beef while my spouse had the pork. Both were delicious. I enjoyed a nice cider that they had in tap. My one regret is that I didn't have enough room in my stomach for their bread pudding that was made with hot cross buns. Staff and the locals are very friendly! If you are on the military base or in the area then please consider stopping and giving these wonderful people your business. Food & drinks: Fabulous restaurant with lots of charm.
Lovely old pub, warm and welcoming. Update 8th Oct. Went for lunch advertised as 12-1300, arrived at 1400 to be told lunch had finished...!?!?! Ruined our afternoon.
Kathy was amazing at coordinating with our weekend event. All the guests commented on how yummy the dinner was. Breakfast was individualised at each person's request and the buffet lunch was perfect. Thank you for making our weekend stress-free!Rooms: 4/5

I have rated the rooms as a 4 purley for the amount of steps as I use crutches for mobility. Staff food and drink were excellentRooms: 4/5
