The food is amazing, served quickly and the staff are all friendly and efficient. I love the atmosphere at sandford house and it is a great place for both children during the day and early evening and more sophisticated outings and work dos. Will definitely be returning frequently!

Rooms are great but typical for wetherspoons, the food is a bit hit and miss. It does get quite busy here though and it's sometimes difficult to get a table, especially if your with a group.

Though I have never stayed at the place was there to make inquiry for a friend and this is when I got opportunity to have look inside rooms and hotel. The rooms were indeed beautiful and clean, the corridor too was nicely maintained, the receptionist was very co-operative and helpful in providing details of the intended stay. This place is inside premises of Weatherspoon but the Pub and hotel both are separate which would give a bit more peace for guests. The only drawback I feel is that there is no hot breakfast served inside the hotel and guests may have to buy it from adjacent Weatherspoon but I guess there is some arrangement for coupons for breakfast if guests are staying for a longer time. I would recommend this place.

Friendly staff and the decor is tasteful and beautifully done. Service was excellent and food was delicious - I tried their pizza for the first time (spicy meat feast), I was wonderfully satisfied by it; rich tomato base with a decent portion of toppings, would definitely order that again.

Typical Weatherspoons, but better than many of the chain. The ladies toilets are award winning and (apparently) worth a visit alone. The building has some interesting history as well.
