I can’t recommend the Three Hills highly enough. We had our wedding there in September 2022 and it was perfect. Kelly, Max and Gabby were so professional and worked really hard to make sure we had a fantastic day! The rooms are lovely, spotless with really nice cosy touches. The food is outstanding, all of our guests are still raving about it! The Sunday lunch is delicious I would highly recommend it. Warm friendly staff, well stocked bar and great atmosphere! Thanks again for a lovely weekend!
We had our daughters wedding reception for twelve of us in the small bar area. What can we say the food was superb as were the staff. We also stayed in the flat and some rooms which were all of the highest quality. Thank you. We will definitely come again.Rooms: 5/5
Second visit here for lunch. Ate in the bar, which has a log burner. Great food. Sevice was excellent. Food was just as good / better, than my first visit. Lovely atmosphere. SO nice to see that dog owners can bring their dogs in to the bar area, to eat. Looking forward to a third visit.
Four of us had lunch today and chose to be in the bar. Nice decor, good vibes, very friendly staff. Good food, generous portions, well presented. We stayed quite a long time - the last ones to leave? - and the staff was very relaxed about it. We had a great lunch. Fully recommend!
Went there on Wednesday evening for an office Christmas party, some were staying overnight book early accommodation very popular. Chicken liver parfait was excellent and refined, definitely a step above the normal. Turkey is turkey sigh but the roasted vegetables were exceptional. Jam roly-poly very tasty with creme anglaise not custard. They clearly have a chef not a cook! The staff were welcoming and attentive without the repeated "is everything okay" nuisance. Little touches and extras made it that much more special. We left with the feeling that we had been very well-looked after.
Enjoyable lunch in the bar area, relaxed setting with an open fire homemade foccacia sandwich with an aubergine and mozzarella filling, fries and side salad, followed by a vegan coconut rhubarb and custard tart and local icecreams. There is an extensive quality wine collection including English and local wines. Great coffee served with style in beautiful crockery An affordable quality treat in a pretty and cosy establishment, great helpful attentive professional staff made for a memorable lunch!, we are planning to come back for a Sunday lunch!
Business trip, room is a bit small but works. Shower somehow leaked a lot of water through a closed door, and a new showerhead is needed as water was coming out the top, and a new toilet seat is needed. For dinner had fiah and chips, great portion size and high quality fish, chips were a bit too greasy and the worst ones were hidden at the bottom. breakfast was ok but took over 30min to prepare! eggs royale arrive lukewarm to the table, veggie breakfast tasted nice.
I went here for Sunday lunch. The food was excellent, the lamb just melted in the mouth. A hearty plate of vegetables and a mighty Yorkshire pudding. Sadly the beer was off, I was served 3 separate glasses of a cloudy ale. Shame as a decent pint would have made for a perfect lunch
The Three Hills was a beautiful and friendly place to celebrate our wedding anniversary. All the staff were welcoming and friendly, delivering a professional service. Our room was beautifully decorated and designed with thought of all the extras to make it such a relaxing comfortable stay. The food was delicious and beautifully cooked. I recommend The Three Hills to all.
Excellent service very warm and welcoming, wish I could remember the young man name but all staff have the same high standards better then some top hotels I've stayed at. Lovely atmosphere very pleasant to sit in or out. Menu sound good but not had chance to try yet. Beautifull walks around, plenty of car parking space and if that is too much trouble then book a room and sleep well.
