Checked opening hours on internet, closed 5.30pm. Cycled in to Kendal and was there in plenty of time. Shop was closed. Sign on the door gave closing time as 5.00pm. Cycled home again - that was an hour and a half I might have used differently and I'll have to go in again tomorrow to collect foreign currency. I bought it on-line to collect the same day with a very clear warning that the on-line rate only applied for that day and if it was not collected on the same day then the rate would change to the less favourable walk-in rate. I'll just have to see what happens tomorrow
