Lovely trip from Pooley Bridge to Glenridding and back. Had a double buggy and a dog with us and all was fine. Was a tight squeeze to get on with the buggy mountain duet but we just fit! Was not the nicest of weather but still gorgeous views. Didn't find much to do in Glenridding, we went to the Travellers Rest for lunch which was about 8/10 minute walk from the pier.

Great day on the lake of Ullswater some stunning views, very cold but worth it, a Lakes whiskey on the steamer warmed us up a little. Staff very helpful and all had smiles on their faces. Thank you to all

These steamers have been on my to-do lists since many years. They proved to be very well-managed, and both punctual and run professionally.  I went the whole distance from Ullswater to Glenridding; this was on their boat Lady of the Lake. A beautiful journey on a calm and warm day! On the return trip, I got off at How Town, their only stop, and after an hour, boarded their next boat to complete my journey back to Ullswater.  All in all, a nice experience!

Great way to enjoy the amazing scenery of the lake after a long hike along the ullswater. A lot of seating on the boat as well. The boat is well maintained and the staff are great which is a plus. Be sure to bring along a jacket with you since it would be chilly specially when its windy. Its really a must experience when you are at ullswater highly recommended

A wonderful way to travel across Ullswater. Not to be missed. An upper deck with cover to enjoy the exceptional views and a lower deck which is warm with comfy seats, a bar serving drinks and snacks, loos also available on board.

We went from Pooley Bridge to Glenridding on the ferry. First on the top deck, then after it getting very windy, we decided to go inside on the bottom deck. All staff that we came across looked like they were enjoying there jobs, smiling, & helpful. The boat was spotless, with all the wood being very polished & shiny.

So glad we did this on our last full day on holiday. The steamers sail along with such grace and character. The best way to see the lake and surroundings.

Lovely little return trip around the Ullswater lake, takes about an hour in each direction and dogs can join too. Toilets are available and also drinks hot and cold. Perfect picture opportunities depending on the weather.

Lovely trip for the family. The best way to relax and take in the beautiful scenery. Staff were really friendly and good value for money.

Brilliant couple of hours having booked a return ticket from one end of Ullswater to the other and back. We had a fantastic sunny trip for the whole journey. The staff are very polite and lovely. I would definitely recommend this as one to put on your itinerary but give yourself enough time for the parking.
