We went to Cuba with Cycle Active In November. Cuba is a unique place to visit - don't expect everything to work as the embargo has clearly made life very difficult for many years and even in the good hotels basic maintenance is lacking so, for example, sometimes the water supply is intermittent. The food is ok but often basic. Despite this this was one of the very best holidays we have been on. The cycling was excellent and suitable for the very wide range of fitness and skills levels we had in our group. Jon clearly has huge experience of Cuba and did a great job of organising and assisting us. Our local guide Jackson was outstanding, hugely knowledgeable and entertaining. We saw so much that non riding tourists would never see, some of the highlights were visiting small local farms way off the standard tourist trail. Essentially you see the real Cuba - something that most who go to the all inclusive resorts would never see. Highly recommended as a very special holiday whatever your age or bike experience.
