The theatre was very easy to navigate and I found my seat in the Grand Circle very easily. It was a great performance by Ben Whishaw and the other actors during the production of Waiting for Godot.
beautiful theatre. seen many plays here and always delighted to be back. seats are comfortable. it’s a small theatre but spacious to walked around during intermission. very easy entry and exit before and after plays and staff have always been nice and straightforward.
A theatre with beautiful interior design. I love the colour scheme, the combination of blue and gold. The artwork on the ceiling gives the feeling of a palace. I came here and saw "A view from the bridge". A fantastic performance. The actors played their roles passionately. The story was good. Very immersive. An excellent drama. The drinks were expensive though. Other than that, it was a good experience. Overall I recommend it.
Nice venue, great acoustics and stage. Stalls seating is pretty poorly designed with a low tiering between rows row M, leading to a limited view of the stage, and, for some, causing neck and back strain. Average seating comfort with limited legroom.
Beautiful West end theatre on Haymarket. Close to all amenities and public transport. Easy access. Seating great. Comfortable. The theatre is very nicely decorated. Bar inside and plenty of food options in area.
The theatre is an iconic venue that’s truly worth a visit in its own right. Stepping inside, you’re instantly surrounded by its rich history and grandeur, which adds a unique charm to any performance. Now, add a masterpiece like "Waiting for Godot" to the mix, and the entire experience becomes unforgettable. Even the climb to the top floor felt worth it once I was immersed in the show. The staff here are fantastic—super helpful and attentive, making the whole process of getting in and finding your seat a breeze. Access to the venue is straightforward, and it's in such a great location that it's easy to reach by public transport or on foot. Do not try to bring your personal car as parking is hard to find, specially in the weekend. However, a small word of advice: if you're seated in the Gallery section, the seats might not be as comfortable as you’d hope, especially if you're on the taller or larger side like me. The legroom is limited, and the chairs cushioned benches force you to be snugged in with the seats around you, so it can feel cramped after a while This would again, only apply to taller and larger people. That said, the view from up there is still excellent, and the performance itself really makes up for the minor discomfort. Overall, it’s a small trade-off for the opportunity to experience such an amazing show in such a historic setting!
A charming old theatre, not too big and tastefully styled. The seating looked like it had recently been reupholstered and was very comfy. We were in the royal circle and had an excellent view of the stage.
Farm Hall is an excellent play that really made me look at the science side of WW2 from a totally different viewpoint - that of the German Scientists. It was very well done, thought provoking and poignant. A lovely Theatre to see it in too. Gorgeous ceiling and decor. So much history to the theatre too.
The staff at the theatre was brilliant. I fainted during yesterday performance and the theatre staff appointed first aider immediately and he attended to me without any delay. They Gave me drink and treated my condition at very attentive and professional manner. After my recovery they have offered a private room to let me to enjoy the rest of the performance. Safety officers were with me at all times until I fully recovered. I am very grateful to all involved. Thank you
Lovely helpful staff, seats in the very back top gallery were painful to sit on, but all part of the experience . The play was fantastic
