2nd time here not the best this time myself and friends had two very well done steaks or thats what we ordered one piece on each plate was great the other pieces rare would be an under statement last time I gave 5 stars this time I can't. Will be voting with my feet on this so won't be going again. But its a shame as it's nice simple place normally serving good food.

Do not support this restaurant, they consistently advertise that they are looking for part-time work, agree that they will pay you for a trial shift (they asked a friend to do 3 ‘trial shifts’) and then stop making contact. They’ve continued to lie, be unclear, and not be professional at all in their emails to resolve the issue. Go to a different restaurant that treats their staff with respect and doesn’t try and exploit students in need of money for free labour.

To quote a previous review: 'avoid like the plague.' (I really wish I did!) Everything here is gone off and literally inedible and undrinkable. The meat: over cooked, dry and expired lamb. The drinks: two bottles of champagne, both corked. From reading previous reviews this is a common thing: Gone off eggs in the chocolate fondant which supposedly tasted like 'chocolatey cheesy toes!' If the food is not enough to make this 'restaurant' unbearable, the staff are beyond rude and incompetent. The most arrogant, horrible people I have ever met. To quote the waiter, Abi: 'I am not talking to you, only your mother as she has more authority than you.' When asking to speak to the manager, be prepared to wait for an average time of an hour despite the place being entirely empty. Moving onto the ambience. Excessively loud music and flashing lights prone to give someone an epileptic fit. I felt like I was in a nightclub/rave as opposed to an elegant meal. The chairs somehow manage to feel even harder than wood and the temperature varies between Sahara desert to the North Pole every 10 minutes. Also be prepared for them to hold your coats hostage. Sadly, the lowest rating I can currently give this place is 1 star. Please introduce minus ratings in honour of this 'establishment'. Save yourself, RUN.
