We visited here for a meeting with work, hired out a conference room and had a buffet lunch. The room was a great size although with the heating on full blast and a room full of people it was still freezing! The lunch they laid on was really nice. Some great sandwiches and some nice fruit too. We stayed for a drink in the bar after and where impressed with the price. Overall a nice hotel for a meeting

Excellent old hotel. Room great. Restaurant very good especially the service from our Tenerifeian waiter. He made the occasion a cut above good. The Grand and Richard 111 were the best of Leicester. Not much else to go for.

The grand hotel located in a busy part of Leicester. the location of the hotel is easily accessible, parking is located at the back and it's plentiful. The interior inside the building shows how modern the hotel is with a bar located on the ground floor. the service was impeccable, very friendly. the hall located upstairs was very well scaled and big enough for parties

Rooms were great and very spacious for the two of us, no issues with the rooms or the hotel as a whole. Great location and nearby to everything you need. HOWEVER the receptionist we dealt with on one of the days was completely unprofessional, rude and we got the feeling that he did not want to be at work. He had a very bad attitude problem and think he needs to go on a refresh course on how to deal with customers and their needs, or quite simply find another job. There was a strong unpleasant smell around him within the lobby. Furthermore the way he treated the lovely red headed girl he worked with, who actually did her best to resolve our issues and had a warm smile every time we entered/left the lobby, was highly unprofessional. Management need to vet their staff a little more thoroughly I think. Apart from bad receptionist it was a good stay. 3*

Just there for a meeting. A good location with car parking in the centre of Leicester. Facilities were good, well maintained and clean.
