Very nice host (who I believe has retired now), the single room I stayed in was spacious enough and the breakfast was filling and delicious. The only negative point really was the shower which was constantly bouncing from hot to cold for no good reason.

Not often that dogs have a welcome plate of biscuits but they do here! Not only that, they were offered a sausage each ( to be eaten in their room) for breakfast, should they want such a delicacy! The White house is a real find, certainly for us with the two dogs. The breakfast was really good and lots of lovely coffee. You only have to cross the road to join super walks by the river and the town centre is only a short walk away. The room was comfortable and warm and well decorated. Our hostesse was charming and a great help. We would happily recommend this B and B for anyone and certainly it was pet friendly. We only stayed two nights but would have prolonged it had we been able to.
