4 of us went yesterday to have a meal .we have 2 small dogs .I asked if dogs are welcome .the manage said I WILL ALLOW IT TODAY BUT AFTER THAT THAT'S IT. In front of customers ,we were so embarrassed we turned round and went to the royal hotel.

Dropped in for lunch and sampled the steak, Guinness and mushroom pie with chips and peas (pictured). A pleasant surprise - freshly cooked, meaty and full of flavour! For £6.95 a go not bad at all! The "Doombar" beer was first rate too. Worth a visit for a change. Service pretty good and staff friendly.
