We stayed for two nights, room was very clean and comfortable. All the staff are so pleasant and professional, every member of staff we came across had a big smile and very helpful, which goes a long way. We will definitely be returning soon, cannot wait. Food was good too, cannot fault a thing about our stay and the hotel. Room 29 Eric and Michelle xx
Not terrible all in all - the rooms were nice, and the view/ location is undoubtedly fantastic.nThe food was generally good, but I think on the food front it was let down by disorganisation and poor communication which led to seeming poor service. Customer service was overall quite underwhelming and while people were friendly it was all quite transactional for all but a few of the staff, some of whom were genuinely great.nnI would recommend the hotel and tentatively its attached pub but would also say that Ross has many other better food options as this is more middle of the road than anything else.nProbably 3/5 for the food offering and 4/5 for the hotel offering.
We had a nice lunch at The Royal in Ross-on-Wye today. Our meal was delicious and great value for money. The butty bach was outstanding. The staff were all very friendly and helpful. Would definitely recommend with the bonus of an excellent view from the terrace.
We visited the restaurant for Mothers Day after spending a few days in the area for a little break away.nnAll of the staff we encountered were really friendly, helpful and seemed to just want to be there!nnFood was lovely and great selection of no gluten containing.
Stopped for some late lunch. The steak and ale pie was delicious but rather on the large size.nCarol our server was very friendly and attentive.nThe bar and dining room were very clean.nPlenty of car parking.
