Brilliant customer service. Came in today asking if they were still serving food. Sadly they were not. However unlike the first pub who turned us away very rudely this establishment apologised. Then when i asked if she knew somewhere that would be open for even a sandwich (we are not local and had just been to Crocodiles of the world with my husband, 4 year old and her disabled grandpa) she then suggested the old swan. Even better she phoned them, checked they would serve us and booked us a table! Outstanding! Then gave us some directions and wished us a nice lunch. Just brilliant!! It was the young lady with dark hair and glasses. You are a superstar! We will be back next time we visit the crocodiles as your food looks lovely! We will just come at lunchtime and book first!

Great Pie Night, perfect pastry, creamiest mash potato ever, Chicken & Chorizo was tumultuously tangy and the Lamb & Mint Sauce particularly hearty. Great service from bar staff and waitress, and full marks to the chef!
