Lovely evening relaxing with a few drinks. Staff very attentive but not over the top. Average prices

Seems that this restaurant can be a bit of a hit and miss regarding service and quality of food.
Booked a table early Friday evening, the place was very quiet, just a couple of tables in use. Surprising I thought....
Anyway, a pleasant greeting and seated immediately. The service was friendly and the food arrived in good time. The starters were very good and well presented. The main arrived again in good time nicely presented and were delicious.
The bill for three diners including drinks came in just under £100 so I would guess fairly average.
The restaurant was nicely laid out and not overcrowded. Nice simple decor and comfortable.
In view of the previous mixed reviews I would say we had a good experience.

Not sure if it has changed hands but visited on Sunday. Calvary was really good. Customer service was awesome and took take away which was really good proper Indian food. Would highly recommend it.

Sad they no longer do carvery on a wed I'm a vegetarian my husband loves Curry's so we wanted to book for 4 wed night but couldn't as they only had meat dish's and curry on the menu which means we can only go Sundays if they did jacket potato or cauliflower cheese that would be brilliant. I can remember the spud pub in Woodstock they were packed every night they did Curry's and meat and whatever you wanted on on a jacket spud it was brilliant.
We went for a Sunday roast for my husbands 70th Birthday he had a curry main meal came out with the starter ?? My Sunday roast was COLD I didn't say think because I didn't won't to spoil the day We WILL NOT GO BACK
