Had a bad dining experience before but thought we'd give it a second chance for a birthday, and a fair amount of time had passed. We odered 2 Buddha bowls, £16 each, 1 was being shared so we ordered a few extras. When the food came, the one with the extras was actually a smaller portion so not with getting the extras and was basically non seasoned value rice, no flavour. Don't waste your money on the food, buildings nice and the waitresses were nice. If you're staying there, there's a Sainsbury's down the road that would do way nicer food for a margin of the price.
We only stopped for a meal on our way home from a holiday in the West Country so can only comment on the food and service. No complains, pleasant staff and the food was lovely
We stopped here en route northwards. It’s convenient on the side of the road. There wasn’t much chicken in the ham, leek and chicken pie and there was some grizzle/fatty bits.
Strange place can't say whether I liked it or not. Food ok a bit over complicated in some dishes. Service a bit mixed Chenise was smed up by characature of her name, walked slowly tutted a lot dumped plates on table
Came in on a Sunday, there was only the Buffet Carvery roast on offer, but that was what we came in for.nWe hadn’t booked a table, but were lucky to get a table, but we were early in the evening, at 5pm.nI would recommend booking a table if you are planning aheadnnAs I cook myself, I did find their prices expensive, as you only get a small bit of meat, the rest vegetables!nBut that is the way prices are going.nnI would come back here, so a good recommendation.
