Lovely room, great amenities the hair straighteners were a nice touch!, comfy bed and a delicious breakfast great vegan options. Only slight downside was the noise from the street outside when it came to closing time at the bar, but it was a Friday night and I always bring ear plugs with me just in case of noise! Staff are really friendly and helpful, we had a lovely stay.
Good food and atmosphere, whilst staff did they were a little bit inexperienced and lacking. Coffee tasted salty so they replaced it but then the replacement was also on the bill with other erroneous items which they gladly removed but if we hadn't have checked it would have cost us £30 extra! Also they didn't offer us desert menu's which we had to go up to the bar and ask. Minor annoyances on an overall good experience
I went into the white hart the weekend just gone, and was surprised how far the standard had dropped since the last time I’d been in 6 months or so The whole place smelt really bad so much so that two of the group id entered with left immediately, the toilets were in a really bad state and the bar area was very dirty. Unfortunate as it used to be quite a nice place to go to but It seems to be going downhill.
Have visited with friends for meals on several occasions. Food is always excellent - good choice for those with allergies, drinks are great with a wide variety. Staff are always friendly and welcoming
Great place for meetings and lunch lovely helpful staff, the only problem and not down to them is the parking the roads are very narrow the nearest paid car park is next to Costa coffee the entrance is set back, tight narrow we missed it a couple of times apart from that great placeService: 5/5
Great bar and great restaurant. Staff are good, menu a good size and excellent selection of dishes. The food is amazing quality. Fully recommend
Not impressed on service on the 23rd of October around 7.30pm. Poor service, nobody checked on our table and the meal was very dry I had a Sunday roast. I would not recommend The White Hart for quality of service or meal
Excellent atmosphere. Despite being a Friday night and thus busy the service was good, friendly and helpful. I really like this place!
From someone who has worked and managed restaurant service tonights experience was a real let down. Overly long wait times for drinks, starters and mains. Empty glasses left to build up. Drinks spilled over members of our party with no apology offered. Finally after waiting 20 minutes to have our mains cleared we where asked if we wanted deserts, only to immediately have the offer retracted and told the desserts kitchen was closed.
Food was nice but the service was slow and we actually felt ignored, and for a quiet Monday night I wouldn’t like to see what a busy night holds. Wouldn’t rush back.
