Great place recently transformed by the family behind the Burnaby. Atmosphere is great, wonderful staff great to see the bar maid from the Burnaby migrate and even better - really tasty food!
Super Sunday roast beef. Followed by, homemade blackberry and apple crumble. Great food and service. Plus felt safe.
A friendly pub, good & clean. They play excellent live jazz, played by the professionals. I don't have to go to London for a good jazz! Fantastic

Basic pub food done well with tasty sausages in the bangers and mash. But terrible service. We'd been there about 40 minutes and not offered a menu, had to ask for one eventually. It didn't improve from there

Brilliant service, wonderful food. I have food allergies and they were very helpful and accommodating to ensure I got safe food that was yummy. Serve vegan mayo, ice cream and custard as normal.
Great pub with excellent food and staff, who made you feel special.
