First time back to the Old Sun for years. Greeting was warm, all Covid necessaries in place and a really good pint of Tribute. Sat in the garden in the sunshine and it was glorious. Lots of decorating going on so saving the fifth star for after completion.
Best pub in town, traditional in every sense of the word. Friendly staff and great beer.
Had a wonderful experience! They fully enforced covid rules and made it so easy to order and receive my drinks. The landlady is lovely and would highly recommend coming.

I've been coming to The Old Sun for years and it is definitely a pub with character also Jen is definitely not afraid to tell you exactly what is what which is a welcome thing during this pandemic

Friendly local with excellent ales and beers - not a lager drinker but there seems to be a good selection of them too.
Warm welcome from the lovely lady behind the bar. Very quiet at the time, but as it was mid afternoon, sort of expected. Fire in the bar was very welcome as it was a cold day. Nice pub!
