Fantastic pub on the side of the river. In the winter you can huddle around the fireplace with blankets if you've popped in for a quick drink after a walk along the North Downs Way. In the summer it's a pleasure to sit on the decking outside watching the world go by on the river. The other added bonus is that this is a dog friendly pub with free treats and blankets for your four-legged friends. The food is pretty tasty too with a large selection of drinks. Really enjoyed this pub. 5 stars all the way.

The venue is gorgeous, the food is great, but unfortunately the service is unbearably slow at weekends. After visiting several times, I took a friend to Sunday lunch. Despite booking, table wasn't ready. We waited 45 minutes for drinks, 90 minutes for food, and when we came to pay, the waitress got the manager as she said she felt bad for charging us for the drinks. The manager - a woman I've run in to a couple of times before - asked us what we expected for a Sunday afternoon, told us that there was nothing more they could have done, and didn't offer any kind of apology. I was so embarrassed for bringing my friend and surprised at how rude the manager was that I have sadly decided to boycott this pub and go to any of the other, better managed and better staffed pubs in the area. A real shame, as it's a very nice pub.

Nice location by the river and lovely building. Food ok but my roast was barely warm. Nobody cleans tables. I wish I ordered a burger as they looked tasty.

Overpriced, 10 pounds for a Spritz! Bar service is slow, kitchen even more (if they get the order right). Once was served a fried sea horse (endangered species) with a fried sardines starter... You pay for the view and being around the ''lovely'' London commuters

Girls lunch. Great lunch for a group of 10, food was very good service was excellent to, and to finish we had coffee outside on the terrace overlooking the river. Lovely time.
