Amazing birthday treat for my boyfriend. It was a little hard to actually find the place but once you get past the 'plain looking' exterior you are greeted by the most friendliest staff memebers. Everyone from the receptionist to the waiters , they made our stay extra special. We booked a spa day, with lunch and a 3 course dinner included. We were not disappointed.  The food was amazing especially the evening dinner. And the Spa itself was wonderful. We only used the thermal rooms but definitely come again and get a treatment next time. They even dressed up the table for my boyfriend, all the little touches that makes that makes difference. I would even come again just for the evening dinner.

I stayed in the hotel overnight on a work trip. On check in the staff were friendly and helped alter the booking. The room was tidy, clean and well presented with good refreshments in the room. The hotel generally has good facilities, the restaurant has great food. Breakfast was also good. Recommended, and would stay again.

We stayed in the willow suite Saturday.
21st April, room very basic,

Bed was a little Hard pillows were soft, which meant we needed two each,
Room was very warm couldn't have window open as wedding party were rather noisy as the room backed onto the gardens,

Got up at 7am as breakfast was 8 to be welcomed by no HOT water what so ever. After leaving it running for 12 minutes still stone cold, phoned reception to be told someone will look into it,

It's now 7.40 still no hot water to shower.
It was like sleeping at a campsite. So I get dressed to go down to reception to be told
Too many are using the hot water so boiler can't cope. Great. Totally disgusting this is a conference centre and not running to full capacity and no hot water, totally unbelievable,

So carried onto breakfast, low and behold food is kept warm by lamps. All dried up, as cold as the water was in our room,

Went back to reception asked what and if water was any better to be told we can use another room to shower, too late we had a family members to meet by 9.30, 60 miles away for a Hotel of this Price when other local Hotels are cheaper within 600 yrds of
Wyboston  lakes we won't be recommending our friends or family to use, and we won't be returning,
And at £89 per night I would expect the very least to have running hot water,

Ps I suggest your cleaners also remove or empty the water out the kettle before leaving it.. Which is also hard to get under the sink tap to wash out and fill up.

No issues with room at all. Very clean and fresh and all the usual amenities needed and some unexpected ones too! (2 hobs!) Bar prices seemed very pricey at £5 for bottle of cider meaning I was pretty sober at the works xmas party and felt I couldn't truly let my hair down as I'd of likes. Christmas meal was edible but I've had pub food at a better standard if I'm totally honest. Meat and two veg was close in that...turkey sprouts and parsnips and some soggy roast potatoes. Soup and desert were nice to be fair.

The hotel is clean and the staff are friendly. However, the room we had and the communal areas are starting to look a bit tatty. Marked carpets, walls etc. The room was small and the bed far too big for it which made the space feel cramped. Lovely bathroom, but no bath only a shower. The spa, however, was first rate.
