A real gem for people who like myself who like good ale. The staff are friendly and helpful, and the compact layout means one inevitably gets to chat with other customers as well. This all adds to the ambience and makes it a great place to come for a pint or three. They routinely include a dark beer in their selection as well, which is great for those of us who enjoy something other than the usual panoply of pale ales. Thoroughly recommended!

Excellent selection of beers which are rotated frequently. The staff are welcoming and knowledgeable. I couldn't recommend this place more highly as a place to go for a drink!
