Friendly staff, great cheff. We just had a sandwich, but this was no ordinary sandwich! The choice of bread was great, real good bread for a change, and the filling was outstanding and cooked to perfection! No even the country pubs I frequent can beat this sandwiches!

Excellent staff, a great place to bring young children.. there was plenty of space for us and many families with young children arrived whilst we were there. It was a good ambience and a good selection of beers. Reasonably priced as well. A very pleasant lunch had by all.

I rarely give 5 starts so this is a good pub. They've recently sorted out the whole dining experience here and it's been consistently good in my experience since. Staff are attentive and chatty too. Well good.
