I called for appointment today 28-3-24. They had none left so she said we can do call back, I said OK. I gave my number as I told her my husband won't answer his phone. So what happened? I missed call as I was at front door. Dr phoned my husband! I needed advice as he's 60 and set in his ways, hes one who will wait and wait to get better but his coughing is terrible, its not a normal cough thats why i wanted advice of what to do next for the best. I've tried Over the counter medicines but not helped. Let's hope his cough isn't something to be worried about. Oh I was told I can call 111! Dr's need to realise what patients should be seen sooner rather then later.
I just wanted to say thank you to Dr Yong, for his helpfulness and patience. I had several queries and Dr Yong and i really appreciate him taking the time and explain in detail the situation and scenario. As a side note, I have been a patient of warley medical centre for 10 years and i have always had a positive experience with the doctors there. By and large they are patient and helpful - which i can imagine is not easy given the number of patients they have to see. The only challenge i have is getting an appointment which is quite a difficult and time consuming process but aside from that i have only positive feedback for all your staff. Thank you. Appalling service and almost impossible to get through to reception for an appointment. Waited 3 and a half hours to get from 37th in the queue to 7th. Was waiting at 7th for 45 minutes before giving up. Do not recommend this surgery.
I'm so happy I returned to Warley Medical Centre! Since moving back early this year, I've managed to secured appointments when needed. The main doctors are truly exceptional. Dr. Hussain and Dr. Wilkinson, in particular, have gone the extra mile for my care, explaining my diagnosis clearly and answering all my questions patiently. They're genuinely brilliant GPs! Even trainee doctors provide comprehensive examinations, always authorized by the regular GPs. Most staff members have been helpful. Joining this surgery has been a fantastic decision. Thank you to the entire team for their hard work!
Dreadful receptionist at this surgery. Unhelpful with queries. Getting appointments here are awful as you can’t get past the receptionist on the phone when you phone in the morning. You have to go through the appointments online if you don’t won’t to share medical information. Receptionists quite rude when you don’t want to share personal medical information!
Terrible service on a repeated basis, communication is awful. Don’t bother using the app either, it’s information doesn’t correlate with what you booked by phone and then it’s your fault the app doesn’t work and you trusted it. Reception staff are unhelpful and cold. If you value your time and health look elsewhere. I’ve used several other services be them in other areas of the Uk but never experienced service and incompetence at this level. My wife had experienced the same and my son I’ve registered at a different GP.. I’ll be looking to migrate too.
I recently had my first appointment with Dr. Chisom and I am genuinely impressed with the level of care and understanding provided. Dr chisom took the time to listen attentively, making me feel heard and valued. Their expertise and compassionate approach were instrumental in navigating my situation during these stressful times. I appreciate the thoughtful guidance and support. Furthermore, I would like to extend my gratitude to the receptionists for their professionalism and welcoming demeanor. From the moment I entered the centre I felt at ease due to their warm and efficient assistance. Their attention to detail and commitment to providing a positive experience did not go unnoticed. Overall, my initial experience with both Dr.chisom and the receptionists has been outstanding. I feel fortunate to be under the care of such a dedicated team. I have always had brilliant experiences with this centre. I’m almost always able to get appointments on the day and get seen quickly. Doctors and staff are always happy to help x
Whenever I had an appointment here, I was delayed for at least half an hour and seen later than the time they announced for my visit. While I observed staff constantly walking around the corridors without attending to patients. In the end, they didn't provide an accurate diagnosis for my illness.
Been poorly since before Christmas with chest infections then Developed tonsillitis got a call back from one of the senior doctors I explained I didn’t feel well enough to come to the surgery as I suspected I also could have contracted Covid .. I sent the Dr a photograph of my enlarged and very sore tonsils and he kindly prescribed another course of antibiotics and steroids my health issue now seems to of cleared up .cannot fault this drs practice or any of the doctors or staff they are all extremely professional kind caring and go out of their way to help their patients .. I’ve been with this practice since it moved from pound close very many years ago highly recommend 100%
