We booked The Walker Cricket Ground this month for a Wake in honour of our late Mother and we could not be more delighted with how everything turned out.nnThe venue and space were ideal, we were a party of 30, however, the venue has capacity for up to 150.  We used their in-house caterer, Clare Alleyne and the buffet we requested was superb and of very good quality.nnThe whole atmosphere and setting was just perfect. Everyone we dealt with from the Manager who we made the initial booking with and all the arrangements, to the staff on duty on the day and Clare who provided the catering were so helpful and could not do enough for us.nnIt was a fitting tribute for our Mum.  We are so glad we chose to book The Walker Cricket Ground.

Great setting on a glorious Sunny Day. There were 2 separate cricket matches going on, one of the pitches even had an electronic illuminated scoreboard, a nice touch and experience.nWe had gone to the main building part of the Grounds, after our church ceremony, to celebrate Luke's christening.nThe company, serving staff, the prepared selection of food and the drinks went down very well. . Thank you to everyone who helped make this experience memorable.

A lot of miscommunication with the management regarding prices and room layout for hiring the venue for a private party. Staff on the day were not helpful and provide a floor plan by the manager which was not discussed with me prior to the event so the bouncy castle was set up somewhere not agreed prior. Staff on the day at the venue had a bad attitude and management did not address this when it was raised with them and appeared to minimise their unprofessional behaviour.
