Rocket League Championship Series 2024. Delay getting in due to technical issues but staff were great & kept us informed. Nice flow within the arena and signage fairly clear. Facilities okay, toilets quite tired but cleaning staff there throughout keeping them in good shape. Limited food options but adequate for the crowd. Issue seen with member of public breaching the stage area, security need to wake up. Medical staff seen and looked more like body guards in the way the stood in front of the seated public. Overall great venue, well managed in most areas. See pics for food menu.
The venue was quite large, but we were disappointed with the food situation.nnWe were not permitted to bring in any food, and many people were required to discard their food items. If we had known that we could not bring food and that there were limited food options at the venue, we would not have purchased tickets for the event. Additionally, the food options were limited to two types, hotdogs and crisps, which were not very appealing. The security personnel were quite rude, raising their voices at attendees and threatening to deny entry if we argued.nWhile the game itself was enjoyable, our experience was negatively impacted by the lack of food options. We were forced to either remain hungry or leave the game in order to find food.nIt would be greatly appreciated if you could provide advance notice regarding any restrictions on bringing food into the venue and ensure that there is a wider variety of food options available.
We really enjoyed watching the London Lions here. The only reason for giving the place 4 stars and not 5 is the huge queues for the ladies loos AND being charged good coffee prices for instant coffee. Yuck.
I was a steward on the 1st of March for the National YouthnIndoor Rowing Championships.nLovely arena, very clean facilities and welcoming staff.nCome and experience it yourselves.
It had air conditioning plenty of space to move about outside. Seating similar to football plastic above concrete. Light and sounds good balance not too loud. Rocket league live computer gaming. Food expensive. More range that reviews read. So had package sandwiches Inc glutton free in cooler cabinet. Lots beer. Prosecco. Can coke c2.80 and they opened it so not easy to carry. Said no food food or water allowed in. Yet search limited so able to bring bottle water hidden in coat. Should have free water tapes but only saw one. Long que at food stalls in breaks but short other times and lots of food points. Not allowed out to get air but not needed as aircon. Would be good to have own signs from Stratford Station, only had for west ham stadium so longer walk. Loads of security before and after right back to station which was good and friendly
