I came here as a first-time skater and had a really positive experience. Most of the skaters on the rink are quite advanced, but there is space around the outside where beginners can practise. The staff are very observant and quickly notice whether you’ve skated before, if not, they’re happy to help you get a grip on it.nnThe venue is easy to locate and has a very cute sign inside. There are three paid car parks nearby and I also noticed paid street parking available on Moorefield Road.nnFood is served here and the website states that the chicken is halal; however, I didn’t personally order food, so I can’t fully confirm this. The toilets were slightly less well maintained, although this can depend on how busy it is and the customers at the time.nnThe skating prices are reasonable, with skate hire included in the ticket. I went for a Sunday late skate from 7pm to 11pm, which was really nice as it gave plenty of time to slowly get familiar with skating without feeling rushed. At £16 per person, I think it’s well worth it for the hours you get.nnOne thing to note is that it does get very warm inside, so I’d recommend wearing light, casual clothing rather than multiple layers.
What a fantastic time we had at Roller Nation. Despite being a complete amateur my bottom is still hurting!, thoroughly enjoyed the banging music and the great atmosphere.nThe instructors were really helpful and patient.nOverall, a top tier time!
Genuinely good fun. Great value, lovely space and really nice atmosphere for kids and adults at the family skate jam. Decent soundsystem for a roller disco too! The people looking after everyone on the rink were great as well.
I had such an amazing time at Roller Nation! I went ice skating and it was an absolute blast. The atmosphere was vibrant and welcoming, the staff were super friendly and helpful, and the whole place had such great energy. The rink was well maintained and made skating really fun, whether you’re a beginner or more experienced. I loved the music and the overall vibe. It made the experience feel lively and unforgettable. Definitely a place I’d recommend to anyone looking for a fun day out. Can’t wait to go back!
This is one of the most exciting places to go to.nThe customer service & staff are absolutely fantastic. I had my birthday there in January. And all my guests cannot stop talking about how welcoming everyone is there. Especially security. There was one security guard. I believe his name was H. He made everyone feel very safe and welcome. He even went above and beyond to assist my grandmother who is in a wheelchair and catered to her needs. Hospitality was spot. I will most definitely be returning!
