The outside tennis courts are in great condition and very well maintained. In comparison with the council courts in Newham, Tower Hamlets and Hackney these courts have plenty of space between each court, plus benches where you can put the gear and have some rest. All these things are reflected in the booking price, which can be a bit steep. Looking forward to trying the indoor courts as well and some coaching eventually.
Beatiful courts, great hardcourt surface, and plenty of space on the sides.nI have not tried the indoor courts just yet.nOutdoor coirts come with bench and bins for rubbish.nIt's worth going the extra mile to play here as opposed to plenty of other parks more centrally located. Easy access by bycicle through the park, beautiful ride to get here!
I went to the tennis centre and had a really good time. I and my friends booked the outdoor space for two hours. There are multiple courts with other players so it’s easy to feed of other people’s energy.nnThe only downside is that we went on a cold evening so my hands almost froze. Will definitely recommend that you go with gloves
Lee Valley Tennis Centre is a top-notch facility with a great mix of indoor and outdoor courts. The indoor courts are especially impressive—clean, spacious, and well-lit, perfect for playing year-round regardless of the weather. Booking is easy online, and the staff are usually friendly and efficient. It’s a bit out of the way if you’re not local, but the quality of the courts makes it worth the trip.
These indoor courts are old and the balls skid off the court, heard about it but didn't think the centre be so neglected, and stones are in your shoes from surface outside the entrance and on the court when you play. Westway indoor courts are newer and cheaper.
