Absolutely tip top. After leaving a nearby establishment due to expensive lunch menu and absolutely freezing cold room, we came her for more than a warm welcome. Warm and friendly. Delicious hot and fresh food. Amazing steak and onion rings. Great burger and sharing platter. We will return.Food: 5/5

Superb local, serving home made food to suit most tastes. Great selection of ales, soft drinks and more. Excellent service and can get very busy. Kid-friendliness: Used frequently by family groups.
Visited here for the 1st time on Saturday 06.04.2024. What a lovely place. Staff and management were fantastic, food was top rate and atmosphere was just right for enjoying our meal. A delight to visit will be going again very shortly.Food: 5/5
Lovely food & nice cold drinks and a cosy atmosphere, staff very pleasant and friendly, it has pool table and dart board and decent size car park, My favourite on the menu is the beef sandwich with salad chips and gravy. Can get busy so you might want to book a table.Food: 5/5
Lovely food, good service, and a great atmosphere. Would recommend it to anyone. We will be back Parking: Good car parking Wheelchair accessibility: Flat and ramped access
Had a family meal for my Gran's 80th. Food and service amazing but the bar staff were happy to let kids run around screaming. Kids shouldn't be allowed in pubs but when they are they should be told to sit down and be quiet.Food: 5/5
I met 7 friends on April 20th Booking was for 7 pm Our first meal arrived at 7.55 Meals came one or two at a time. 2 meals were not as requested, even though pre orders had been submitted. I didn't hear any apologies, especially after our long wait for meals that had been ordered. We made our own enjoyment but we were very disappointed in the service and the staff weren't particularly friendly. We shall be looking for an alternative venue for our next get together, which can range between 6-10 people approximately. I shan't be recommending "The Waggon Inn" in future.
I really enjoyed our experience in the Wagon and definitely will be back. Gave the atmosphere 4 stars because it was early evening when we were there and a true indication can't be assessed until the place is full. Really attentive and friendly staff . Food is fresh and cooked to order. Thank you and well done Wagon Inn.Food: 5/5
Went for a family meal. Staff were brilliant and made us very welcome. We all had various starters and mains and were all in agreement the food was delicious and portion sizes were great, well worth it. Would recommend.Food: 5/5
