Went for the Christmas menu and for the most part was good. However,I don't think the chef has seen a Yorkshire before as it was not only flat, but incredibly stodgy, and the roasties could've done longer in the oven The cheesecake wasn't a cheesecake at all, the base was absolutely rock solid and the topping wasn't set
Excellent meal in the newly refurbished Fiddlers. The management and staff are welcoming and attentive, the food is copious and tasty and there is a wide-ranging menu covering everything from pub classics to burgers, sizzlers and pizzas. Different offers throughout the week and it was busy even on a Thursday in September so worth booking for big groups. Highly recommended.
Good choice of drinks and plenty of places to sit. Staff are very friendly polite and professional. Good for watching sports too, plenty of free parking for the designated driver. Definitely worth a visit. Had a lovely time on new year's eve bar was buzzing great atmosphere. Excellent
Updated under new management. Food great, excellent value for money, new menu loads of choice. Outdoor seating available. Staff brilliant good friendly atmosphere would highly recommend. If I had to pick a fault toilets could do with updating. Well done to the new management should do well .

Been dining here on a regular basis, the Sunday roast or roast of the day has been exceptional quality. Had beef and horseradish sauce was delicious. Staff have never been anything other than first class. Dietary restrictions: They can meet any dietary restrictions. Parking: Approx 40 slot parking lot. Free
Really clean and pleasant atmosphere. Food was piping hot and served fairly quickly. Was very nice and tasty. Cleared my plate! Defo recommend.

Another lovely pub in Gateshead for food and I can't fault the place. Service was quick and polite with the staff being friendly throughout. Reasonably priced and would definitely come here again.Food: 5/5
