Staff were great. Friendly and helpful. Good selection of drinks. The food was great, cooked well and nicely plated. Family friendly, Dog friendly, loads of outside seating and tables. Lovely views of the countryside. I would recommend.Food: 5/5
First time visiting, very impressed by the quality of the food. Party of 6, food was served piping hot and in good time despite being reasonably busy. Lovely views, dog friendly, we'll be back with our mutt for sure.Food: 5/5
Had my first mixed grill at this fabulous establishment. Very good quality of food, presentation, service and price. There is free parking and ample outdoor seating, including tables and the front, side, and rear. Plenty of indoor seating also. Beautiful interior. I will definitely be returning. Would of rather had chunky triple cooked chips but still very nice. Huge portion.
Highly recommend the mushroom on sourdough bread for the starter and, well, the cheese and bacon burger did not disappoint either as you can see by the great portions. First time here and it may be my favourite place in a long time. They allow doggos, have a nice big beer garden and plenty of parking. Loads of drinks to choose from as well. Just an all round lovely place but again, the mushroom and stilton on sourdough takes the win. Cannot recommend enough. Parking: Lots of spaces as it's at the end of a road so park anywhere.
Amazing from start to finish .. we had our wedding event here and the food and service and hospitality of the staff was fantastic … nothing was too much trouble and they catered to our every needs … me being the nervous bride had no reason to worry it was a brilliant day … Thank you Penny & the team I highly recommend this place .. book your “do” here you will Not be disappointed x
Absolutely love this place !! Such a lovely friendly Warm greeting from the lads behind the bar as Spon as you walk in your made to feel at home. The fire is always lit and the views over the fields are just lovely. There is so much to chose from the menu and having tried quite a lot of it I can say we've never been disappointed. Slightly more pricey than your average pub lunch however it is well worth the little extra cos the food is so so nice. The lads behind the bar deserve a nice tip as well they just make the whole experience even more enjoyable.
Visited yesterday, my sister her dog, and Mother - we all ordered fish & chips, what came was batter and chips! Sadly very little fish on all three plates. Ordered and paid for a cup of tea for Mother, that never come, we had to ask the young lad who brought the meals out. I can honestly say, this was the worst fish & chips I've ever had! No one even came to ask how the meals were, which also surprised me. For £49 you need to up your game!!

It is a small and cosy place. Had a great time as they had Andrew Watkin on who is a great guitarist and singer. Great set of staff at the place. Didn't have food, so I will have to pop back sometime to give my opinion. Keep up the great work.Service: 5/5
Worst customer service ever.. arrived at 1..4 adults and 1 toddler.. sat there for an hour n a half and and probably would be still sitting there had I not got up and asked where our food was.. my grandson was starving and getting really tired of just sitting there .. food arrived at 2.45 pork dinner with crackling and veg doesn't come with cracking and veg you have to ask for it.. Nice food when you finally get it but customer service let's it down ..
