Food was delicious, had alot to try from even a carvery, all home made food which I love like the hand cut chips to die for, staff are really friendly, the decor is very old style pub which I love to and music is at an acceptiable volume so you can have a decent conversation,I will definitely be visiting again, and would recommend a visit by anyone
We held the wake for my husbands funeral here, Fred and all the staff were amazing, food was exactly as I expected, a nice sized room, and the atmosphere was perfect. Would totally recommend for any kind of private event <3
We had delicious thin crust pizzas Kiev and Bolognese and a burger with sides of onion rings and chips. Got halfway through the pizzas and took the other halfs home for tea in a carry out box. Good, fast service from the Stone Trough team.
This was a very disappointing dinner indeed. I picked up a trio of meats which cost £14 and a small gammon dinner which cost £7.50. The food was underseasoned, bland, and tasteless, the mash was dry and lumpy, the gravy was instant gravy and lumpy, the meat was paper thin and not much of it, the only positive thing I took from this dinner was the packaging was decent. I don't think the locals have very high standards going off their reviews. This was an expensive dinner for cheap ingredients and badly executed.
Just had lunch for dad's 90th birthday. Staff were great and friendly food was excellent and great price. Will be going again. Parking: Plenty of parking
Food is good. Service was ok. Took 45 mins for the food to arrive and then one of the dishes for the kids what wrong. It was kindly swapped but they had to wait even longer as we ate our food. Not ideal but it wouldn't out me off going back.Food: 4/5
Went here yesterday for Sunday lunch buffet was really nice especially the roast beef that was nice nd tender .Will definitely go back again .Nice atmosphere not noise.Food: 5/5
The food is well priced and it's always lovely however it's not consistent other wise it would have been 5 stars. The staff are lovely and never had an issue that couldn't be resolved. Kid-friendliness: Not only is the pub kid friendly there also dog friendly and as a result even on a none busy night there is a lush atmosphere.
Great place to go. We went for a friends 60th birthday, the spread they put on was excellent. Lady Rebecca even allowed us to stay in the car park in our campervan. Great people thank you very much Andrew & Brenda
Food brilliant could not fault service not rushed staff great . And excellent value for money 10 out of 10
