Visited this pub years ago when our children were little after a fantastic walk around Langsett Reservoir. Finally got to visit again today with the hubby and dog was fantastic. Friendly and helpful team and the food was absolutely delicious well worth the visit after a lovely walk definitely recommend. Thank you.

I love going to this pub on the way to Manchester. Its in such a lovely spot and it is always busy with walkers.
Friendly if leisurely-paced service. Decent pub grub. Small but tasty selection of draught beers. Very generously proportioned homemade flapjacks. And really excellent location with a great view.
Just in the right place after a walk. Had the fish, chips and mushy peas special. Lovely jubbly
