5 for Sunday lunch last week . Arrived earlier than booked . Seated with no problem. Had some one with us with special needs . The kitchen went out of their way to cater for him . I would definitely recommend the Miners Arms for a meal. There is a good menu, with plenty of choice. All the food was freshly cooked and homemade. The quality was excellent and portion size very generous. The staff were so very friendly.
Nice to go into a pub mid week and find it pretty full of poeple. Food was really nice and plenty of it. Also provided blankets so the Dog could sit with us on the bench seating. Service was friendly and unrushed and just generally felt very happy to be thereFood: 5/5
Called in for our tea tonight and WOW! The atmosphere is amazing, Rob and his staff are friendly and make you feel very welcome! Shared a starter of Homemade Chicken and Mushroom pate ! 12/10! Very very tasty and beautifully presented. Wish I could take home the chutney with me!! Hubby had Sirloin Steak and all the trimming cooked to perfection! I had the Haddock and chips, the fish was again cooked to perfection and the batter was amazingly crispy, better than a fish and chip shop! The mushy peas and veg were fresh! Nothing frozen in sight!!! 18/10 for the whole experience!! Compliments to the Chef and the Landlord

Thursday 23 .. had chicken in mushroom sauce with chips & veg.the guy even brought me. a ramekin full of pork crackling when I asked if they did it with SUNDAY LUNCH to try The meal was fantastic.the sweet treacle tart & custard was just as nice I would recommend it to anyone We have booked SUNDAY LUNCH CANT WAIT
Popped in last night on a whim and I'm so glad we did. Me and the Mrs both had the pork loin joint and it was outstanding. The service was fantastic and overall I thought it was good value for money given the quality of the food and the huge portion sizes. Will definitely be returning again soon.Food: 5/5
