Brilliant restaurant the wife and I come here 2 or 3 times a year. They serve food that you can't seem to get in other restaurants. The desserts tend to sell out if you eat later in the evening but the food is so plentiful I hardly have room for pudding anyway

We went to a meal just before Christmas. We were a reasonably large group of 8 but this did not faze the staff. The staff were very attentive, good humour and created a lovely family feeling. It was like being taken into their home rather than eating in a restaurant. The food was excellent and I would recommend leaving room for desert.

Positives: Friendly staff. Really enjoyed the service. Reason for 2 stars. Good parking. To consider: Overpriced. Really overpriced. Have dined repeatedly in other similarly priced restaurants close by and the quality of food wasn't anywhere near for the price. Steak was cold and the meat quality wasn't great, at all. Sauce was poured in masses instead of given on the side to choose quantity. Chips were awful. Starter felt fresh - unlike the steak - but tasteless and underwhelming. Only 3 choices of red wine. No wine list. I cannot recommend.

Classy and elegant restaurant but still suitable for the whole family. Food is good but not cheap. We went for the Sunday set menu which represented fair value for money. LOVE the dessert trolley!
