A real gem. We turned up on spec after visiting the beach and we were looked after superbly. Well kept ale, sublime seafood and excellent and friendly service.

I loved the food, the atmosphere, the beautiful old building with amazing collection of old photographs and the friendly staff and proprietor. He took special time to make us feel really welcome here.

We've visited the Victoria many times, to eat or just to drink, and always receive a warm welcome. It's the food that sets it apart from any other pub we've visited: really excellent food but not the kind of pretentious gastro-pub menu you might imagine. Always a pleasure to eat. We shall return again and again...

Just look at the pictures! Don't waste anymore time deciding, get a table booked in and wait no longer to get your chops wrapped around those Primrose Herd Crispy Hocks.

Over priced, pretentious food, limited menu, and not of great quality either, would not go again, would not recommend. Came away from here disappointed after reading alk the good reviews.
