Excellent cafe. I’ve visited several times and it’s unfailingly first class. Food really good and service unsurpassed - fast and efficient, and absolutely nobody told me to “enjoy”!

the worst cafe in my life such a rubbish cafe i have ever been. i got there at 2pm and ordered tea and we were having afternoon tea appriciating sightsee out side of the window and then afrer 20min staff told me that they were going to close the cafe due to the bad weather and short of customer, even though they hadn't told us the fact that they are going to close in 20min. and then i told the staff that they should have let us know the closing time of the cafe when we had got a first order but she told us 20 min is enough time to have a cup of tea with rude voice. I think telling customers the closing time is as general as normal people's think as long as they are going to close in 20min. I want to get rid of the memories i have had about this cafe. please dont go there and go to the Godolphin Arms which is right next to this cafe and also way better than there about anything

My partner and I visited this cafe and ordered a latte, a frappe and a slice of coffee and walnut cake. The frappe was room temperature. We told the young woman behind the counter and at first she disagreed and said it was cold enough. She then decided that the ice had been left out and added a few cubes of ice this then made the drink overflow. She proceeded to put the lid back on the overflowing cup and hand it back to us. We complained that she couldn’t give it back in this state and that it should be made with crushed ice. She totally disagreed and was very very rude. She then took the drink and emptied it into a larger cup and added a lot more milk to fill the gap - this drink then basically became a slightly coffee flavoured milk. Absolutely disgusting customer service and what’s more the cake was given to us in a burger box. Can’t believe this cafe is still in business with rude staff like this.

Cute little place with a view on St Michael’s, friendly table service and a good choice on the menu.
