Absolutely excellent absolutely loved staying here would definitely stay again friendly staff very clean rooms 1st class service.
Great pub serving great beer, easy walk from the walls and well worth the effort.
Comfortable beds, clean room within walking distance to town. Very basic but who needs super luxury when you're spending most of the time galavanting around York.
Friendly welcoming landlord. Room was lovely. Dont be put off by the carpark/ rear. Check the postcode against places you want to visit as we did not use our car at all when there.
Excellent customer service nothing was to much for the new landlord Steven ,made to feel welcome for the whole stay breakfast was good room was clean and would definitely go back again

Excellent traditional English pub serving quality real ale, the Old Mill traditional is sublime.
Lovely little bar with a decent standard of accommodation, really helpful and welcoming, and if/when we hit snags they were dealt with quickly and efficiently, we'll stay there again
Brilliant hosts for a 33 year reunion, couldn't ask for more.
Rough atmosphere, shouting staff and loud argumentative customers. Cheap drinks though.
