Nice cafe in a great location. The frittata and super salad were very nice but think the prices are for location more than quality of the food. However filling and tasty food. Hot chocolate not all that.
I went here with a friend during the film festival as we were looking for a small cute cafe to get a soup and sandwich. This place was perfect! It was really busy but we managed to get seats. We were short for time but didn't have to wait long at all! The food was yummy too.
Lovely cafe, relaxed atmosphere, friendly staff. Nice menu, with good specials etc. Would recommend. Maybe some of the notes on the blackboard need changing, as the place is no longer 25 years old!
Always a good choice. Not cheap but quality shines through. Fresh ingredients, top up your teapot. Recommend.
Small café tucked away in the shadow of York Minster. Reasonably priced menu with a variety of freshly prepared food and interesting choices served all day. GF and vegan options available, space is tight.
Food was excellent and very well priced! Portions were great. Also had the coffee here which was also really good. Absolutely recommend!
From start to finish, the service was relaxed and efficient with friendly waitresses. The food and the coffee was excellent and it was only a short wait for it to be delivered, I would definitely recommend! If they have a got pork belly sandwich with chilli tomato chutney on the specials again, it’s a must!!
