After a slight misunderstanding from one of the waiters on whether or not the Summer Sizzlers were dine-in or takeaway, this was immediately sorted out by the manager and from then on we had great service. The seafood sizzler was AMAZING! And excellent value for £35 between two people for 6 or 7 types of fish/seafood, naan, chips, salad and curry sauce. There was a good atmosphere as there was decent a number of diners for a Monday night. We'll be back very soon!
We had a lovely meal out at the viceroy, the best curry we have had in a long time. The food was 10/10 and Jay was so accommodating to our party and really went the extra mile to look after us and make sure we had everything we needed, will most definitely be returning, and recommending! XFood: 5/5

The team at Viceroy catered to a large group of 40 people, addressing a variety of dietary requirements, including vegan, vegetarian, and gluten-free options. They ensured everyone in our party had plenty of delicious choices. The food was not only diverse but also beautifully prepared and incredibly tasty. Each dish showcased fresh ingredients and was bursting with flavor. The service was excellent throughout the evening. Eddie, the manager, and his team went above and beyond to make sure we were all well taken care of. Their attention to detail and commitment to customer satisfaction truly stood out. Despite the large group, they ensured that our glasses were always full, and each course was served promptly and with a smile. Overall, Viceroy provided a memorable dining experience with great food, wonderful service, and a fantastic atmosphere. I highly recommend this restaurant for any special occasion or just a delightful meal out. Took my mum and dad here tonight for the first time and had amazing service as ever! Freddy, our waiter, couldn’t do enough for us. He was fab! Outstanding service, outstanding food my mum and dad can’t wait to go back ! Had a meal tonight and it was outstanding! The service was on point, food came out piping hot and was served in an acceptable time. Amazing meal out tonight. Service was outstanding. All waiters/waitresses were extremely professional. The time between starters and main was excellent and the food was just delicious. We couldn't finish the meal as we were full, so they put it in containers to take home. In my opinion, by far the nicest Indian restaurant in Derby. The food doesn't just taste of spice and nothing else - you can taste the individual ingredients without any overbearing the others. The price is more than reasonable and although I have only used their takeaway service, the inside of the restaurant looks very nice and well taken care of.
Excellent curry in Midland Road Derby. Staff all friendly and efficient with the drinks and menu. Good poppadoms to start with proper tasty and spicy pickles. Nice big sized Chicken Dupiaza and Pilau Rice washed down with a alcohol free beer. All in at just over £27, a touch above prices back home but still worth it. On a street with so many choices they have to be on too of their games to keep the customers coming back.
I took a group of sixteen people here last night, the food was excellent! good portions, a large variety to choose from the menu, all food was served together and everyones piping hot. The service from all staff was excellent, I would fully recommend this place to anyone, just top notch in my book, we will all definitely go again. Thank you to all at The Viceroy Midland Road Derby
