Story

Situated at 266 and 268, Uttoxeter New Road, Derby. Upon entrance you will be greeted by our friendly team in our stylish reception area, Balti Internationals very modern yet traditional main Restaurant is positioned on the ground floor for easy access recently underwent a full refit to an exceptional standard. Established in 2003, we are proud to have gained a first class reputation within the midlands for our creative cuisine.

The menu has a vast range of dishes, ranging from classic main to our chef and Balti specials. Quality is our watch word, and our experienced team of chefs make the difference between our cuisine and any other Indian meal you have ever tried.

In addition to our well-presented main restaurant we also have a private function room which can cater for up to 30 clients.

Great food and very good staff! To take orders for a table of 6 and then to remember who had which starter and main course is splendid - something I rarely experience in a restaurant. Also the concept of bringing one's own alcoholic drinks not soft drinks unless you want a £10 charge! is excellent.
Wow. Just ordered our first takeaway from here tonight . l had chicken jalfrazi with no onions or peppers and was really tasty. My partner had chicken korma and he loved it. Nan breads were delicious. Will definitely be back. Thank you.Food: 5/5

Was supposed to go for mother's day due to lock down that didn't happen! So went last night and the food was beautiful! Everything was so fresh and the service was fantastic our table was booked for 7pm and we'd eaten our 3 course meal by 8pm!! The staff are all so friendly and welcoming and kept apologing for noise people in the restaurant which didn't bother us! We didn't realise that they wear doing the eat out to help out so for an already amazing value for money restaurant it was even better! Will definitely be going again!
I recently dined at International, and the experience exceeded my expectations. The service was impeccable, with attentive staff ensuring a comfortable atmosphere. The curries were a delightful blend of flavors, showcasing the chef's expertise. Each dish was delightful and left a lasting impression. Highly recommend for a memorable dining experience.

Thank you Balti International for a beautiful meal tonight. This has to be one of Derby's longest standing BIR curry houses, which serve truely amazing dishes and with spot on service to boot. We ordered 2 starters, the mixed kebab and hot meat puri, both were great value and tasted great. For mains we ordered the saag paneer, which is my American daughter-in-laws favourite, chicken tikka masala and chicken tikka pathia. Everyone commented on the high quality of each dish and quantity of meat and paneer. My wife comments stood out the most, which really does say it all 'this is the best pathia I have ever had'. Truely praise indeed, I know The rice and nan breads were superb and if you want great BIR, then look no further and download their app and get ordering, especially as you get an amazing 15% off on your order if you do. Excellent 10/10 for quality and service
Went there out of the blue, with the family and enjoyed the food, the service and atmosphere... Would recommend it, but only caveat being it is a bit pricey... Still good for a treat... Dietary restrictions: Vegetarian and other options... Kid-friendliness: Definitely cater for children with good offers...
I was very excited to come here after seeing the reviews but so disappointed after going here, staff are pleasant and the service was great too what brings this restaurant down is the food there was nothing authentic about it at all ordered biriyani but it was just brown rice non of the ingredients in it were what make it a biriyani and the rice wasn't layered either it was all just mixed together, garlic chilli chicken was supposed to be one of the most spicy curries there and it had no taste whatsoever a few chillies cut up in to the dish to make it spicy but they weren't cooked in to it. The jug of Sprite didn't taste like Sprite was a different lemonade. The only nice food was the veg samosa.
