An authentic Indian food restaurant, with a range of options from the North Indian, South Indian, and Indo Chinese cuisine. It's a buffet system with a per person price for about 16-17 pounds and children half the price. You can eat unlimited out of all the options. Good appetisers, main course, biryani, desserts, Pani puri, pizza, etc. A defo must try.
Good variety of food, plenty of space, good parking and reasonably priced.
This place is massive. Loads of options in buffet with variety of live counters. Definitely value for money. They literally have a softy vanilla ice cream machine. Must try if you are around East Midlands area.Food: 4/5
I will give them 10 stars if I could!! Have to be one of the best experience of buffet in UK so far. Everything that I tasted was absolutely delish.. notable ones being prawns and fried chicken.. it’s halal as well. And everything from dessert was so well balanced. Their price at 19.95 is for weekend, doesn’t include drinks. But then you can get 3.50 for a bottomless refill for soft drinks. Weekday is for 16.95. For the lovely food and the vibe you get this is totally worth it. Also what really really made the experience absolute best, was the lovely friendly staff.. nothing was too much for them! I am definitely bringing myself and all my family and friends back here again!!
We visited recently as we love the food there. It is a very big restaurant however the buffet area is large enough for the diners so no massive queues. We enjoyed it but felt chilly all evening and we were glad to leave before we got too cold. It may have been warmer nearer the buffet but further back out to the side of the room it was definitely cool.
Wonderful place for a celebration. The food choices are ok, better for non-vegetarians, and sweets section is amazing. Prices are reasonable and ample free parking spaces are available. The staff is nice if you talk to them and Live food counters add value to the atmosphere. I think the atmosphere can be enhanced with a few additions like LIVE music. Overall a good place to go with friends and family
The food and variety here is amazing, the quality is good. I've been several times and I never get bored of the food. They have Indian, Chinese and English with a big dessert selection. Good choice of beverages soft and alcohol. I like that they have limca and thumbs up.
First time going but will definitely go back! Wait staff were attentive & quick to clear plates & ask if we needed a refill The food was absolutely amazing, highly recommend the stir-fry section as you can pick your own sauce The receptionist was really nice and friendly, she kindly sat us closer to the buffet due to mobility issues which we forgot state on booking Easy parking with plenty of space at the back, wasn't too far to reach the main entrance
We hired on site catering for a stag weekend for 30 people on Friday. The food was fantastic, excellent value for money and the staff were very accommodating and helpful, especially with dietary requirements and allergies. I'd highly recommend Slice of India for anyone considering on-site catering. Thank you all for your hard work and for helping to make an excellent weekend for us!
