Stumbled upon this place by pure chance and although it did look quite we thought we would give it a go. Most importantly the food was good, decent portions and good quality, the prices were very reasonable and the service was great. They even boxed up our leftovers so I could take it to work for lunch the next day. I would definitely return in future.
***me and my partner up all night poorly*** Gutted to say the least. Based on reviews, expected good flavours on first time ordering. If you want flavour, go to masala hut. If you like bland food and a bad belly then this is the place for you. Watered down, tight with the meat which was dried out anyway, arrived cold as well. What more could you ask for

I have amended my previous negative review as the food has improved so greatly in this restaurant in the last year. It used to all taste the same, now it is far more varied and tastes delicious. It is still pretty expensive, but maybe worth the cost. The staff have also got a lot friendlier. All this is evident as they are busier now than ever and there are now queues to pick up food. We have now also made it a regular addition to 'Takeaway nights'. Well done for being brave enough to listed to feedback!!! :
Can’t rate the food as not eaten here in a long time. But this is a review for the owner or the gentlemen driving a Toyota Yaris who said he is the owner. A very angry man who thinks he has the right to be aggressive towards members of the public in the car park.Service: 1/5
I haven’t lived in Derby for very long but this is one of the best curry houses I have eaten at EVER! I have had take away from here which was great but tonight we dined in which did not disappoint, food was amazing, service was amazing, totally recommend!!Food: 5/5
Just visited this evening, very disappointed that restaurant seems to have really gone downhill, onions in curry hard, one curry far to spicy, rude staff member and been charged more for a pint of lime and soda than friend charged for pint of lager!Food: 3/5
Had the most amazing Indian cuisine here. I went with my family and there were 6 of us. My wife is Indian and wanted the dishes cooked in the traditional style Desi and very spicy, the staff couldn’t do enough for us and nothing was to much trouble. We have lived in Derby for nearly 15 years and have desperately wanted a good Indian restaurant we could go to.. I can honestly say we have found that in Red Chilli. All the dishes were just how we requested it and we can’t wait to go back. Thank you and we look forward to seeing you all soon.
